When the Marriage Pact sweeps through campus, it's magic. It creates buzz, hype, and excitement unlike any other campus tradition.

It creates conversation among friends, offers moments of introspection, and for a few weeks each year, it makes everyone the star of their own rom-com. Before you go in, you never know if you’re going to star in a “missed connections” rom-com, a “star-crossed lovers” rom-com, or a godforsaken tragedy (at Princeton, one guy matched with his twin brother… oops). But everyone comes out of it with a story to tell.

One notable part of the Marriage Pact is that it involves massive participation at each school where it happens. The first year at Stanford, 58% of the student population signed up in a week. The next year, 65% of the school signed up; the next year, 71%. Today, 98% of everyone at Stanford participates in the Marriage Pact before they graduate, and a school-specific Marriage Pact is happening at 83 schools around the country.

Be the one to make the Marriage Pact happen at your school.
